Here is a great outfit to try wearing when you are wanting to turn some heads and also turn your wardrobe up a notch or two without a lot of effort! The pants! The pants! These maroon wide legs are amazing! They are high-waisted so you can pair them with a crop top or a loose fitted shirt. I paired them with a navy knit crop top! The navy compliments the maroon so well and the color blocking helps define your waist. Throw on this navy striped long cardigan and some strappy tan heels and you are good to go! This cardigan is to die for! I love looks with a pop of color! The pop being the pants in this case! A gold statement necklace and delicate gold rings will accent this ensemble perfectly! Put on your favorite black fedora for a more on the go look! This outfit is not only easy and achievable but it gives off a vibe of ultimate chillness!

Sometimes with a baby, running around town while trying to look like a chic 22 year old is not very easy. It's always a possibly that you are going to run into someone you know while you are out and about. With my luck I see everyone and their mother when I look absolutely horrifying with makeup crusted around my eyes from the day before and coffee breath. So any outfit planning is worth it and I'm here to show you how to do it! The base of the outfits are two great pieces that should be in anyone's wardrobe. First is white tee, but not only a white tee. Let's go a little more dramatic and grab an oversize tee. THE COMFIEST YOU CAN GET YOU HANDS ON! Goodness I could just swim in them when I have one on! Next is a good pair of acid wash boyfriend jeans. Any wash will do, I just prefer a more chic monotone vibe. These paired together are perfect mates! Tuck your shirt or leave it be, this is such a chill look. OUTFIT ONE: Above, I paired these two pieces with a great pair of bronze Nike's. They are easy to slip on and the bronze is fab! Next I added a sheer blue striped scarf. I would open this up all the way and drape it over both shoulders like a shawl. Grab a roomy cross body bag and a journal for memories along the way! OUTFIT TWO: To the right is the same base pieces ,but this time with some great silver Birkenstock sandals and a fun, lavender bucket purse for a pop of color. When there is a bit of a chill, add a soft loose cardigan to continue channeling that relaxed vibe. These two outfits are perfect for a mom on the go or anyone looking to add some ease to their everyday style while still feeling functional enough in your outfit to take on your busy day! Everyone, the one piece suit is back and this time with a vibrant splash! Since having a baby and this being my first summer postpartum, I am a bit weary about my body. (I have a dark line under my belly button from pregnancy that bothers me). With these amazing one pieces, you can still feel sexy and fashionable while feeling confident about yourself! I love the way designers have finally tailored to a woman's body when it comes to the one piece suit. With this being said, there are funky, vibrant colors and patterns that help accentuate your body in the right way! The top suit to the right is a cutout by Moda Operandi. The swoop neck is subtle enough for bigger breasted women but this pattern also elongates a figure and the cutout waist is great for achieving an hourglass shape! The middle suit is one from my favorite designers, Mara Hoffman. This suit has a dramatic deep plunging neckline (perfect for bare chests like myself) and a cutout waist! This suit also has a fun but minimal pattern that is FANTASTIC! A tie in the back makes this super darling. This bottom suit is also by Mara Hoffman. It's vibrant and a little daring with cutouts along the front and a deep swoop back! These colors are great on any skin tone and the pattern lies perfectly on your body, creating an illusion of a narrow waist! Every woman is different and every woman's style is different but no matter what, have fun in whatever you drape yourself in that day. Life is too short to be self conscious. Wear what you love this summer! |
